UI/UX Developer
  • BE/Graduate degree in Computer Science or related software engineering field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in Angular 15 and up.
  • 2+ years of experience in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with a deep understanding of creating web accessible code.
  • Extensive experience with the SASS (CSS preprocessor), well versed and capable in the use of variables, mixins and ‘DRY’ development patterns which SASS affords.
  • Knowledge of assistive technologies (screen readers, voice control software) and their interaction with Web applications.
  • Good level of experience of the Bootstrap 5, demonstrable capability in understanding the Bootstrap grid system as well as the utility classes it provides for flexbox, alignment and controlling display at different viewport breakpoint sizes.
  • Comprehensive understanding of responsive UI design techniques, how to leverage Bootstrap CSS capabilities and when to utilise different HTML templates for each breakpoint to better achieve maintainability of code.
  • Excellent understanding of flexbox, how to align elements within a row or column consistently and with minimal mark up.
  • Demonstrable evidence of experience in organising a large amount of CSS files in a way which optimises re-use of declared component level styles across an application.
  • Knowledge of performance optimization techniques
  • A Bachelor’s degree from a reputed institution
  • 1+ years of work experience in data management, data analysis, data visualisation, metrics tracking, and complex data modelling
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL
  • Advanced proficiency in any dashboarding tool (prefer experience in Looker, LookML)
  • Proficiency in Python (Good to have)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to learn quickly and readily adapt to change
  • Strong analytical skills, operational background, ability to make data-driven decisions, attention to detail, and sharp focus
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently to accomplish team goals
  • BS in Computer Science or similar degree and 3+ years of related experience, or equivalent work experience.
  • Python and shell scripting experience required with deep knowledge of python tools like PIP, virtualenv, wheels, setuptools, etc.
  • Well versed in Cloud technologies (preference for AWS)
  • Comfortable working with networking technologies
  • Familiarity with systems configuration management, monitoring, and metrics
  • Managing packages/patches such as OVAs, containers, rpms, pip, npm
  • CI/CD familiarity
  • Ability to manage time efficiently, working independently and on a team
